The term Company “shall at all times refer to Ambient Technology Jamaica.
- Internet Access Service: The company undertakes to provide the subscriber with Internet access service. Mr./Ms. _________________________________________________ now the client has freely applied for the broadband service and agrees to a twelve-month (12) contract. If I decided to terminate the contract before the twelve (12) months for any other reason than inadequate service that has been documented, I the client will be required to pay a termination fee. Client’s installation fee is Fifteen Thousand Dollars (15,000) additional cost may be incurred based on-site evaluation.
- Service Availability Warning: The company does not guarantee uninterrupted service. The availability of the of the Internet access provided by the Company will be subjected to power outage and other conditions affecting internet use, which are outside the control of the company. Our service packages ranges from 25-150 Mbps data speed and this is a 30-day service. Our variance is expected to be between 6-12%.
- Payments
- Installation: Full payment of installation cost is required before contract can be approved. Prior to installation of any system that is outside the scope of the “Basic” installation package & after site visit. The installation fee will be fully refunded to the customer and this agreement cancelled without further obligations by either party if service cannot be installed within four to six (4-6) weeks; (“6-month amendment”) and then there after seven to fourteen (7-14) working days.
- Internet Service: On the initiation of service, clients will be billed on the days of service used up to the 25th of the current month. They will then be issued a 28 days billing cycle, the first full month’s service thereafter, service charges will be billed monthly. Due dates will fall between the 25 and the 30th of each month. The client will be provided with their service bill seven (7) days before the due date, and they will have an additional five (5) days after the due date to make payment. All service payments can be made at the office located in Spalding Clarendon and Alexandria St. Ann; other payment options are available online. Payment is due in full upon billing. Accounts are considered active until cancelled by subscriber.
- Disconnection: Clients that have been disconnected for consecutive non-payment of bill has to pay a reconnection fee of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1500).
No redistribution: The resell or redistribution of internet service to neighbouring homes/facilities is strictly prohibited. A violation to this term will result in the immediate termination of your account. For such services, please subscribe for a business account.
Equipment: The modem supplied on customer premises by the company to provide service remains the property of Ambient Technology Jamaica. Any equipment belonging to the company that is not returned upon termination of service will be billed to the subscriber at full acquisition cost.
Prior Agreement Void: This agreement hereby supersedes all previous representation, understanding, or agreements, written or oral, by or between you and the company, and shall prevail notwithstanding any variance with terms and conditions of any and all orders submitted.
Binding Agreement: this agreement shall be binding upon the successors and assigns or, as the case may be, the heirs and personal representatives of the company and subscriber.
